Seren1431,
No …
Seren1431,
No offense taken! I was an ex-Catholic once and some of my best friends aren’t believers in ANY religion! I’m just glad you came by to watch. It’s all about being an uberGeek!

Peace,
Fr. Robert

selin2213,
Yes… …
selin2213,
Yes… This is one of the major advantages of a backup solution like the Clickfree. It doesn’t compress the files or move everything into a proprietary format. Instead, the Clickfree looks like a regular hard drive and each backup is arranged in its own directory as it was found on the original computer.
In other words, it’s trivial to hook it up and read or copy just the files you need.

Fr. Robert

Can you load the …
Can you load the backed up files on a different computer than the original one the files came from?

Hey Fr. Robert, I …
Hey Fr. Robert, I don’t know why you bother answering people like Josh. All those conspiracy-theory types can never be convinced of anything. They are so convinced of their own intelligence that the only answers they ever have are, “wake up sheeple!” or “I know the REAL truth” - You’re wasting a perfectly well-reasoned post on these guys.

GSRJosh33,
It’s …
GSRJosh33,
It’s always nice to welcome our “conspiracy-theory-totin’, New-World-Order-nutjob, MJ-smokin’, illuminati” brothers!
To answer your question… no - Lee Harvey Oswald wasn’t a Jesuit. For that matter, he wasn’t a priest… or even CATHOLIC! He was a self-described believer in the religion of Communism. (Yeah that makes no sense… but then neither does the rumor that Oswald was a Jesuit.)
Anyway, thanks for coming and enjoy your stay in reality.
Peace,
Fr. Robert

That looks pretty …
That looks pretty nifty. I do agree that 160 GB is a bit low. 500 and up would be better since alot of people may have a buttload of files.
My question is that it only works on Windows, right? No Mac version?

Solfire,
It’s …
Solfire,
It’s doesn’t remove anything on the computer. If you’ve already backed up a particular computer and you plug it back in,it will look at the “modify” date.. if it’s a later date than the file contained on the clickfree, it will copy it from the computer to the hard drive.
Peace,
Fr. Robert

Robert, when it ” …
Robert, when it “syncs”, does it act like iTunes when it syncs with an iPod? Let’s say you backup songs onto the Clickfree, but you end up deleting the songs on your computer. When it syncs, does it remove the already backed up songs in the Clickfree?
