USB Sound pods are external sound cards that deliver audio input through the USB port. This eliminates the noisy interior of the computer enclosure that may introduce noise into your microphone signal, thus reducing your dictation accuracy with speech recognition. The Andrea USB pod, the Andrea USB-SA full duplex sound pod, the VXI sound pod and the Buddy USB sound pod all perform equally well.
