Porch Enclosure

This is a review of the Macally G-S350SUAB “Mac G5 look-alike” External Storage Enclosure….actually it’s more like a “hands on” than a review. This fanless enclosure includes an external power source, a firewire 800, firewire 400, USB 2.0, and eSata interface.

Overall I am very pleased with this enclosure. The thing I like about it the most is the aesthetic. It looks like a little G5 (as you can see).

Excuse the poor video quality; I’m awaiting a new higher quality video camera in the mail.

I’m a little late on this. It took me a month to decide and finally come up with the decision to buy one.

Some of you guys do not like this but for my preference, I’m liking it a lot.

It did somehow made the sound quality a little better.

My parents were amazed when they saw it in person and wants to have mine.lol

This is an unboxing/overview of the iPod Shuffle 3G.

For the case of headphones, it’s pretty easy to use actually.

The MB662UEAB-2S is an enclosure that can store two 3.5 hard drives and has a built-in RAID to configure them for different RAID settings. It has two RAID configurations, RAID 0 and RAID 1, and supports BIG & JBOD. The enclosure also offers USB and both FireWire 400 and 800 interfaces. The MB662 also has a built-in fan with an adjustable speed control to increase or decrease fan speed. Like our previous MB664 models, the body of the MB662 is surrounded by a solid aluminum body, which allows better heat dissipation, and requires no screws or tools to install hard drives. The door is easily accessible by two buttons located on the top of the enclosure. The spacing inside allows enough area to dissipate the heat out of the enclosure. This is an ideal storage device for video and audio editors and is compatible with Time Machine. This enclosure also has a built-in security slot for the security cable kit.
