What kind of sub enclosure should i make?

My sub is a kenwood kfc-w3011. I mostly listen to metal and rock(both old and new but more old stuff), but i listen to just about everthing from classical to rap to pop. The ebp of the sub comes out to 29.6. Should i put this sub in a sealed or ported box?
Sealed - SQ , punchy, Tight bass
Ported - SPL , loud boomy,
I prefer Ported, I had a sealed box for 4 years before I got my ported and I wish I switched a long time ago. If you have a sub, You want bass so get a ported box, because thats what its made for.
But its your perference, if your like sound quality go sealed and if you like Loud, pounding bass go ported.
