Key:
WAX = Carnauba wax (release agent).
FG = Fiberglass
CSM = Chopped Strand Matte(reinforcement)
PVA = Polyvinyl alcohol (release agent)
Plug = The original item that your creating a mold of.
Mold = A negative replica of the plug, specifically a ‘tool’ mold.

It’s ok if you make sure you use a chemical resistant resin there are resistance tables on the scott bader website for all the different types of resin..

Nice video man! To cut the fiberglass I use a bosch pmf 180, with a tile-cutting blade. this is an excellent tool because it vibrates instead of rotating, so glass dust does not go everywhere.

Not 100% but yes it should, as long as you coat and seal the inside with a 2pak paint or gelcoat/flowcoat. Actually im making an alcohol fuel tank for a car fuel conversion and I wouldnt mind knowing the long range effects of it too.

Others might be interested to know that they also sell grinders (air grinders usually) with adapters for a shop vac, really helps with all the itchy dust. I’m sure they even have vac adapters for regular grinders as well.
