Why would I want a USB 2 or FireWire Enclosure?

what are their importance ?

A USB 2 or FireWire Enclosure is a way to put a hard drive into a portable case so you can use it for backups, extra storage, etc.

I have my old hard drive in a FireWire enclosure and I put photos and stuff on it. I also have FireWire enclosure with a drive that works with my laptop. I use it for backups — so if my laptop drive fails, I just swap drives and keep going.

Um… unless I misunderstood the question. If you mean why would you want to add USB or FireWire *capability* to your computer… it’s so you can connect to all kinds of external devices — including hard drives but also cameras and stuff.

    So you can plug things into your computer? Like…keyboards and mice, for example.

    If u’ ve an USB then u can access any type external devices like pen drive , flash drive, digital cam photos etc., that type of things we can have it ..

    BY USING USB 2 WE CAN HAVE AN EXTERNAL DEVICE CONNECTED TO OUR PC IN A FEW SECONDS. WE CAN COPY ,SAVE OR ESLETHING BEY USING IT.WITH IT OUR WORK BECOMES EASIER. USE OF PENDRIVES,CAMCORDERS,WIRELESS KEYBOARDS/MOUSE/SPEAKER,BLUETOOTH AND MANY MORE
