PCWizKid, you are …
PCWizKid, you are right.
From Wikipedia:
A terabyte (derived from the prefix tera- and commonly abbreviated TB) is a measurement term for data storage capacity. The value of a terabyte based upon a decimal radix (base 10) is defined as one trillion (short scale) bytes, or 1000 gigabytes.

Man, If only I could get Windows 7 as fast as you. But then again, I should see how it works when you get it. I wish I had this, I don’t think my computer is up to the task to partition 3 different OS’s. But then again, it’s not like I have the cash to get this! Thx anyway.

Even stupider is …
Even stupider is that they give liquid size values to their products, and forget that to be able to write to a 100gb drive, you’ll need 10 or so to be unaccessible. I’d prefer to know beforehand exactly how many GB’s of space I will be able to use when I buy an HD, for instance.
They also do it when marketing Broadband connections, since most internet users don’t know the difference between a Megabyte and it’s 1/8th cousin, the megabit.

It’s true, you …
It’s true, you should just say that when you review a HDD so people know what’s happening. lol.

1 terabyte is equal to 1024 gigabytes, not 1000 gigabytes. And I know all HDD makers do this stupid way of calculating it.
