how do the Kicker CVX 12"s and the Kicker L7 8"s sound in sealed enclosures? also how do Kicker speakers sound?
also do kickers sound better in small large or medium size sealed enclosures?

Kicker subs sound good in either box as long as you have the right amp to push those subs and proper wiring you wont be sorry.

Kicker subs actually perform BETTER in sealed enclosures. The only reason you almost always see them in ported ones is because people try to get the most output from them.

Kicker recommends a sealed enclosure volume of 1 - 4.6cubic feet for the CVX 12", and .33 - .75cubic feet for the L7 8". -The closer to its’ max recommended volume you get, the lower it will hit in its’ frequency response.

I currently run kicker solo l7 15s & I have to agree w/ they sound good in either box, but better quality in a sealed. My kicker was build in kicker specs & it’s amazingly…LOUD that it’s scary sometimes. If you wire them properly, you won’t be disappointed. Good luck.

The CVX and the SL7 are solobaric designs and will work extremely well in small sealed enclosures better than most anyway.
