Here are the Details:
12" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils
pulp/fiber cone reinforced with Kevlar and a layer of Rohacell® plastic film
» Santoprene rubber surround
» cast aluminum frame
» power range: 500-1,000 watts RMS (500 watts per coil)
» peak power handling: 3,000 watts
» frequency response: 24-200 Hz
» sensitivity: 84 dB
» top-mount depth: 8-11/16"
» sealed box volume: 0.65-1.25 cubic feet
» ported box volume: 1.0-2.0 cubic feet
» Recommended Q-Logic Box Type: 1, 2, 3
The optimum sealed enclosure is 1 cubic foot.
The optimum ported enclosure is 1.8 cubic feet. A rectangular port of 12" by 1" that is 24" deep.
These are for each woofer.
Try as much as possible to not have equal wall dimensions, like a perfect cube is the worst possible shape. Also, don’t mount the woofer in the exact center of the enclosure, but off to one side. For two woofers, mount them near the center divider.

I have 2 pet bearded dragons (a boy and a girl) and i would like to be prepared for when they’re breeding. I was wondering if there were any cheaper set ups ( e.g. large plastic tub etc) that i could use to house the hatchling’s so i wouldn’t have to spend a heap of money again, seeing as a i will sell them back to the store i bought the parents from when they’re big enough.
Yes i beleive there is plastic tubs you could buy and set-up how you want them to be. But i dont know much about keeping beardies in tubs. I would just keep the babies in small enclosures for example 10 gallon tanks which cost only 10 dollars. I am sure you can place the babies in small rubbermaid containers but i dont know what they will need in there besides a couple hides, water bowl and probably something to climb on.
Just research a little on google or somewhere about baby beardie racks or something like that.

My laptop quit on me. I bought an external harddrive enclosure and was assured it was as easy as plugging it into the host computer. Well I try to access the HDD and it just pops up a window that says "Compaq recovery partition warning! This area of your hard disk
(or partition) contains files used
for your system recovery.
Do not delete or alter these files.
Any change to this partition could
prevent any recovery later.
How can I access my data and get around this?
its accessing the recovery partition .. should be 2 one where your data was and the recovery one..

My motherboard will not support 2 hard drives or a floppy drive. I bought an enclosure for another hard drive. I have lots of floppies so I need a floppy drive. Is ther a way to turn my floppy drive into a usb 2.0 drive?
No, but you can buy external USB floppy drives pretty inexpensively. Get one of those and that will solve your problem.

It sounds like an OK HDTV but I think the Vizio is a better HDTV that Wal-Mart sells for about the same price.
Pick up the March issue of Consumer Reports they just tested a bunch of LCD TVs and have some good recommendations.
I have a friend with a Vizio and she really likes it, I’ve watched it and the picture is very good, yes it’s not a Samsung but it’s not $1000 either and I think for the price you want to spend I’d get a Vizio, I don’t think the Westinghouse has as good of a picture.

I live in the Virginia Beach area, and I just visited a house that has an enclosure outside, it was about 10 feet deep & 15 feet long it looked fantastic. I was just concerned with the humidity we have and possibility of pesticides. The owner takes them in over the winter and other severe weather situations.
An outdoor enclosure for a beardie is great…i wish I could do it for mine. My brother lives in California and built one for my niece’s dragon. The most important thing is to make sure they are safe from predators…my brother put real thick chicken wire around it and built a roof for him. Also, make sure there are plenty of hide spots and basking spots. Make sure you check it daily for any places your beardie might start digging in…my niece’s got loose once, because he burrowed under the fence!!! Luckily,, they found him 2 weeks later…basking in the driveway!!!!

Do I need to clean out the aquarium that my hermet crab is in. The sand seems to be getting nasty, but there is only one crab in it. Please help!
Hi we run a rescue and have 43 hermits right now between two large tanks… we do a deep clean once a month BUT daily we sift the sand for droppings and spilled food.. that is a must in order to keep the crab’s tank free from bacteria and other nasties.
How much sand do you use? With the proper depth of sand (enough to cover the crab if he decided to dig down) then you could sift the sand really well and then mix it well in between deep cleans.. but I would not go longer than a month.
I would suggest tho to get another crab for him.. in the wild they live in colonies of 100 or more and are VERY social creatures witht heir own kind.. he would benefit with a friend and he will live a long happy and healthy life with a new friend.
It is sad to see a crab alone.. when he was scooped off of his tropical beach with a few of his colony friends and now is all alone. He will become more active with a friend or two.

Check out these Notebook HD Enclosures from OWC
I already had 2 Hitachi SATA 500 GB drives that I got on ebay. I needed an enclosure and got one of these

It worked so well I got a 2nd refurbished one for the 2nd drive to use as a backup.

I really think it’s worth paying the little extra to get the Firewire 400/ Firewire 800 and USB 2.0 flexibility.
I also want to add they got an excellent tech support on their website. It’s a live chat like AIM or something. I was having trouble figuring out how to open the first one and the guy told me how to open it.
I just can’t recommend this company enough.
